Retinol in hot climates

The climate in the middle east, as you can guess, is hot 😁 UV is often 9, there are times when it's 11. What does this mean for retinol lovers? Failure?

Hold on 🥸

If you:

  1. Use a sunscreen with SPF 50 daily without skipping it
  2. use retinol carefully (for example, using the second version of YOUTH ELIXIR RETINOL SERUM on a daily basis is a crime, your face will suffer, this product is too rich), and use the active in doses, a couple of times a week, avoiding redness and flaking
  3. Use hats and umbrellas in the heat of the day

If these conditions are met, no ‘stop words’ are needed

The main thing is to approach everything responsibly ❤️

Who is definitely not advised to use retinol in hot countries?

Those who choose to lie around sunbathing on the beach. For those who use sanscreen not as a daily ritual. You are better off avoiding retinol and acids. But in general we are strongly against such actions because there is no reason to voluntarily sign up for pigmentation and skin cancer risks 🤷‍♀️
